My "new" Rocker C
#12
Hi HD100,
guess I could answer in german - am I right? Your bike is a rocket, wow!
No, changing the license plate isn't really an oppinion after I saw the new license plates in real. They look in a strange way not very harmonic at all at the bikes. Anyway, the costs for modifying the side mounted license plate from Gentscher won't stand for the result of it. With the 260 and the cleaned fender it now has in my eyes an consistent look.

true, the license plate is big - but that's already the small version *lol*
It has exactly
7,874 in height x 9,055 in width.
Normally in Germany it has
7,874 in height x 9,842 in width.
Since April, 10th we got new license plates in Germany (and I registrated my bike at April, 1st). Now they measure
7,874 in height x 7,09 in width. But it has a smaller script and THAT looks really bad. So most prefer to stay with the old plates.
It took years of discussion in the German ministry of transport 'till they decided that. In fact the little bikes (I think up to 3 CUI) have better looking license plates with the same script size but much smaller.....
Has anyone information about the chromed application on the oiltank (between the fins, like on RockerDans FXCW), which some member here have?
Actually I think about buying a heavy breather. And I think, I need some good exhausts, as I bought it with some No-Name pipes on it - seriously I don't know them. Hm, and during the wintertime modifying the second rear fender, a littler shorter, or ;-) ?

The chrome strips on the oil tank you are asking about are available at auto parts stores they are flexible chrome side trim with sticky tape on the back side. They come in rolls, different widths, cut to fit for about $20.00 i believe.
Do a google search for sideauto trim molding .
