Default trike out soaftail

have any of you guys triked out your soaftail? at 62 i am thinking a trike might be easier on the knees. i ride 2 up most of the time. me and my girlfriend go on some long rides from kittery,me to the white mountains in nh. here on the seacoast tri glides are way to expensive and i am not sure who makes a good trike kit. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Grimm triked his Night Train using a Frankenstein kit. I triked my wife's Nightster with one of their kits also. It is a very nice kit and beefy! When/if you do a kit, be sure to add the raked trees also.
Most of the popular manufacturers are well built and stand by their product. It all just depends on what you like.
Good luck with your decision!
