Anyone used Smartpartz baffle on V&H Quiet baffle?

I missed this in your original post. But I can see that you have the same V&H quiet baffles as I do. There is an end cap welded on the right end of the baffle in the background.
You found these V&H QBs too loud? It's been a long time since I had them installed - maybe I was wrong about them being too quiet? I'm going to swap them in for bike night tomorrow and see how they sound.

Since my earlier post I went back to the V&H QBs on my straight shots. You're right, it didn't quiet them down as much as I thought. But I left them on ever since. The QBs reduce the raspy sound and they also make it easier to keep the bike quiet when you want it. They still have some nice bark when you get on the throttle too.
