Does anyone know what happens to the odometer reset switch when you install the Low-Profile Chrome Fuel Tank Console part # 71208-07. In all the pics Ive seen I can't tell where it fits after the change. Anyone have an answer, thanks,

It's on the upper part where the odometer is, slightly to the left. It's out of sight but you can find it by feel.

 

Incredibly nice looking console. Was anything like that ever made for pre-2000 softails? ('99)

 

I think Ness has some full length chrome consoles for the previous gen

 

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but this is the console I really want for my deluxe, but mine is a 2012 and this says only fits up to 2010...anyone know what changed in 2011/12 that would prevent this from working? If it really wont, does anyone know who makes one similar to fit a 2012? Thanks for any help.

 

If I remember right the console has a hole in the side for the reset button where the '12 doesn't. you could always just buy a button and put it in to fill the hole. otherwise it will fit

 

Are these Harley consols or are they after market that you guys are showing and whats one run? I too would be afraid "scuffing" might show but I like them.
