Default motorcycle lift question

Harbor frieght has an 1100 lb lift on sale (central hydraulic 99887) for $179 and theres a coupon good through today for 20% off bringing it to $144. Anyone have this lift? Reviews? Will it work good on a 97 heritage ? looks like a good deal

You are talking about the High Position M/C lift. There was a long post about these a while back with good info. I bought mine from reading that thread. (got the same deal you are talking about)
I like it, very secure, easy to use, etc. I am very happy I got it.
There are pics posted on that thread with them in use, think I might have even posted a pic.

I have it too. I love it. But, my arm for the jack has disappeared inside the lift itself. Make sure the rubber handle gets glued on is this does not happen to you. I spent an hour with a long magnet trying to get it out the other night and said screw it. I am know using a breaker bar to raise it up. I have a few videos of it here.

I paid $200 for mine.

IMO, for that kind of money, it's an outstanding lift at an incredible price. I use mine frequenly and it's already paid for itself many times over

Look at my album on chain adjustment and see if it's the same one. Use mine all the time. I paid less then $100. Depends what you want but it works great for me.

The only issue is it does not give you directions on how to tie down your bike on the stand. You have to figure it out on your own and where to tie it down at.

Just put it together. Took some electrical tape and wound it around the handle just before the grip so the handle wont come off.
