Anyone know the helmet law in Georgia? I keep hearing that the police/troopers can now stop you if not wearing a DOT standard helmet, but not sure if this is now a requirement or MUST?

I believe it is one of the states that says you must wear an approved protective head gear, but never published a list of what is approved. There has been a rash of guys getting tickets though for non-DOT. That is one of the reasons I was hunting for a good looking DOT
