Im running HD crossover dual head pipes with SEII slipon mufflers, love the look and the sound is great! If your interested, I have a set of SEII slash down as well as slash out slipons. Id let either go worth the money.

+another on the FatCat but I am not one that thinks just cause I have one everyone should. I had a Screaming Eagle Pro II pipe on this bike before the fatcat and although they were almost identical, there was a gain in performance when I changed. The thunderheader almost won out when I bought this though.

Longshots were already on my bike, but I would choose a Thunderheader if I was going to make a change.

Fatcat for power and quality. Whether or not it's for looks is a personal decision, but I obviously love the look as well.

Can't help ya much on your question but you never mentioned if your were going to change a/c and tune. Are you just looking at changing pipes, or are you going to do a stage 1 on 'er now?
Thanks, FXB. They are really nice - I was looking to find one used for a while now.

I kind of wanted some input on whether I should change a/c and tune or just slap them on. I really don't want to throw a ton more $$ at it after I just bought the bike, but I realize it may make some sense. Thoughts?

I was looking for four things... deep tone, medium loudness, tapered ends and great non-restrictive performance. Found all four in spades with the Khrome Werks 3.0" HP+ slip-ons.

I have an 08 heritage and I went with V&H Big Radius 2-2. I saw someone on here say they didn't like them on their bike but I love them. I like the way they sound and I like they way they look!! Of course I only got to listen to them for less then a week before a 20 yr old kid wasn't paying attention and rear ended me on the bike about a month ago. My Harley dealer says it will be about 12 weeks to get my bike back because of the paint for the rear fender.... Ughhhhh...
