I think its kinda cool having a bike that was only produced for 4 years, but I don't like that I can't get another one if I trash mine.

The discontinuation may have nothing at all to do with sales. It may have something to do with some aspect of production or component availability. The Crossbones is also being discontinued, but not because of sales and popularity; they're simply not compatible with the ABS brakes that HD is moving toward as a standard feature.

I know man. I assure you I'm aching to get this thing done just didn't expect so many supplier issues. From what I'm being told the wheels and frontend SHOULD be here by middle of the week so it shouldn't be much longer. But....if it goes the way it\'s gone so far the parts still won't show up. Trying to keep the faith though.

Why make ABS standard when they can charge everyone a thousand dollars or so for the ABS security package? I could be wrong but I don't see it being standard any time soon.
