Question King Tour-Pak on Softail Deluxe

Hey all,

I am from the Touring Forum. I have a friend here in Italy that has a 2010 Softail Deluxe. He takes his boy (12 y/o) riding frequently, but with the nice weather coming up, they are planning some serious long hauls. He is wanting to put on a tour-pak that has arm rests so that the boy is comfortable and secure, incase he falls asleep. I have done some digging, I found the two-up rack for the Softail on the HD site, will a King Tour-pak mount to this? I know this set-up may look a little odd on his bike, are there any other backrest/arm rest combos that would look good, yet still achieve our end state? Thanks in advance for the help.

Cale

It's different, but not that bad on a softail.

What you have is exactly what we are wanting to do. Did you just mount the Tour-pak to the Softail 2-up rack?

This is an old thread but right on, I bought a deluxe touring mount. I could have saved 200 bucks.
Good job

Those wrap-around arm rests gotta go though!!
Look very out of place, w/mo speaker pods.
I'ld like to walk to them every time I see em' stickin' out as obtrusive as they are and trim em' down to look more contour. lolol.
