I think you should go with street slaaaamers!! Look at my sig pic!!! Super comfortable!! Step away from the Apes and be different or all our bikes are gonna look the same...Lol!!
those are just drag bars correct, thats what i had on my other bike
You just need some slow speed parking lot practice with a bar change.
It changes your center of balance from what you were use to.
Mine aren't radical, so a shorter re-learning curve.
Klock Werks has a nice line of bars with pics installed on some Fatboys.Might take a look at his stuff.I like Beach bars with fat front tires and Apes on skinny tire bikes, just my taste.
I almost didn't put apes on my bike because I didn't think they were comfertible, thankfully I gave in and said the looks are too good I'm going with apes, because for me they are more comfy then drag bars or even the mini apes I had before. I'm 6'2 with a little change left over and have 17 inch apes on my bike, they actually measure just short of 17 inches, hads are just above my shoulders when I am sitting relaxed and never had a problem with the hands going numb, longest Ive been on the bike non stop is 2 hours.
I did stock deluxe bars on my fatboy. (no riser) They look better, feel good and only cost me $30.
I'll probably do something else down the road but it was a quick, cheap and easy way to get rid of the stock fb bars!
I have 18" apes and I'm 5'10" and have no problems.
Same here, 5-10 with 18's. Thought they'd be too high, but I love them.

Just afraid of cornering with apes.
I've got a bad back and the apes actually put less stress on my lower back than my stock low bars did. And cornering isn't a problem at all.
I had all the concerns and fears that people who have never had apes have, and it really isn't anything like what you worry they'll be like. They're actually really comfortable and easy to ride with.
