I'd like to see the final result of this thread for future reference. I've thought about the heartland kit, but can't afford it yet. I'm stuck with the Brawler seat for now. lol j/k

Thanks for all the info everyone. It looks like I will be giving the RSD Tracker kit a try since I can't go strutless. The small gap between the seat and the tank is not a big deal to me. Plus I have been toying with the idea of having some mods made to the gas tank and this might just give me a reason to do it after I get the rear end finish. Now just a f.y.i. for anyone wanting to see how it turns out for me, is that I am working overseas and won't be able to install the kit until mid summer when I come home for a R&R. But the plan is to have a garage full of goodies waiting for me to install on the bike when I get home.
