If you are going to run hard bags i would go 39 i had 36 and went to 39 its funny when you get the shorter pipes you then want longer most members have bought at least two sizes so if i were you i would go longer and save the money from buying twice

 

Yeah the Samson website leaves a lot to be desired. I was confused as **** when I was looking for fishtails/longtails. I ended up going a different route.

I just installed 36 mini Cholos with baffles and I and everyone else loves the sound.I have ridden 200 miles since installed and scraped three times pulling out of parking lots with the rear being lowered 1 1/2 inches.I think they all look good 33,36,39 it just all depends on your eye.

 

Add a shotgun shock with the Samson's and your scraping will be decreased drastically.

Well, I started with the 33" w/ baffles and eventually worked my way up to the 36" no baffles and gues what, I should have gone with the 39" cholos......It's all about the look you are going for.

 

the look is easy,you have the look i want !!

 

With the Shotgun you will not scrape. With the Hi Low I would scrape at my local Mobil station everytime I would fuel up before my Sunday rides. NOT NO MORE!!! Thanks too JD and the SHOTGUN SHOCK!!!

 

Anybody have side view pictures of a Heritage with 28" and 33" Samsons. I
think I'll have to with go with one or the other because of scraping in turns.
In fact I think someone mentioned 33" scraped. Do 28" scrape also?
