Default Seat questions for Deluxe

I normaly ride 1 up on my Deluxe but from time to time my wife likes to go too. Shes about 100 lbs soaking wet and the stock pillion beats her up in about 30 miles. Any recomendations? TIA.

Harley sells a wider pillion that works with the stock seat. If you think you might change out your seat, make sure the HD pillion works with the new seat.

I got the Harley Sundowner touring seat for the Deluxe for 2up riding. Changing out the my solo seat takes five minutes.

I changed out the stock seaT with a mustang touring seat. It moved me back about 3", much more comfortable. I also changed the pillion to the wide hd one. It works fine and loos good with the mustang. Also added hd quick release sissy bar.

I have the wider pillion and my better half uses a sheep skin. We have put in lots of long days in and she says she is comfy. The sheep skin really helps.

+1 on the wide pillion. I take off my Buttcrack and put the stock seat back on when we ride two up. And I know I'm in the minority, but I find the stock set perfectly comfortable for long trips.

I also have the Sundowner. It's a honkin' big seat but really comfy. My OL is 115 and is comfy. One screw and it's off. Quick.

Otherwise it's this one; also one screw:

OK - I'm looking at all of your Deluxe's (I just got mine last month) and I have one question. What is everyone filling the holes in the rear fender with? I took off my pillion and luggage rack, and I don't know what to put in the fender holes to clean up my rear fender.

Please help a reformed Sportster rider out!
