Default Amsoil in first fluid change

Just ordered Amsoil MCF 10W40 for the primary, MCV 20W50 for the engine and 75W140 gearlube for the tranny. I also ordered their oil filter. I did some research and came to the conclusion that these were the best to use. After looking at numerous test results which show that it actually lowers engine temperature I figured to give it a chance. I know everyone has their own preference for oil and fluids but I think I made a good choice.

I just recieved my Amsoil but I'm gonna use 20w-50 in the main and Primary and 90-110 severe gear in tranny. Bike gets really hot useing se3 syn oil so hope this cools it down. Curious what made you go with 10w-40 in primary?

Yep, no problem at all with the Amsoil... except to your wallet.

Yea but after spending piles of cash on mods why skimp and not use the best oil? For the extra 30 bucks well worth it in my opinion!

It was a comparison test of oils and these were the recommended viscosities. Go to their website. It says it is good for hot running primaries.

This is the almost the exact combo I run. I have used Amsoil 20W-50 oil in the crankcase, Amsoil 10W-40 oil in the primary chaincase, and Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube in the transmission for my last two changes.
