Im goin back and forth between an 18 or a 21 up front Ive searched Vee s website with no luck on specs for their tires . Im pretty sure the 130/70-18 is about 5 1/4 wide tire width . Whats the width of the 120/70 mounted on the 3.5 wheel also is the load rating the same on these tires ??? I do a lot of high country riding in Colorado where the roads are a little wicked. My thoughts are the fatter the tire the better for my situation. Charlie

Hey Charlie, you can run a 21x3.5 up front with no Mod. The thing is though, is gettin a 21 tire to fir the 3.5. Vee rubber and a company called diamond back tires who puts on white walls on Metz 21 inchers are about your only options. I called biker alley today in so cal, and bob told me, that he was out of stock until the end of may when a shipment is supposed to hit the states.

A 130-70-18 is roughly 130mm or 5.1 " in overall width.A 120-70-21 is roughly 120 mm or 4.7 " in overall width.Different tires(brands) sometimes have different widths even though they are the same size. These measurements should put you in the ballpark though.Got them from Avon's Website.I would measure mine for you but its a 90-90-21 on a 2.15 rim. She's a skinny biotch. Good Luck

I'll be getting pics of a 21x3 and a 21x3.5 today with pics. Maybe even a 21x2.15. I don't avhe any measurements and it's 5am. When I wake up I'll break out a tape measure.

4.25" across the tire from sidewall to sidewall.
