I bought a new chevy van in 1990 and took it in for the "free" 5,000mile and 10,000 mile oil change/inspections. Some years later when the rear main seal was replaced on warranty, I asked for a computer printout to find that the dealer had charged General Motors for dozens of parts including a new rear end!!
Point being, is that a dealer can not only screw you, but screw Harley Davidson on warranty parts that were never replaced.
