New Backrest...

RE: New Backrest...
Thought I would update this post for those interested. Bought the rider backrest for stock Heritage seat. It works well, but sits you a little closer if you're taller and/or used to leaning back a bit (I'm 6'2 and would prefer to be 1-2 inches further back - maybe I can bend it a little!). Cost was $139 shipped, plain black. Will come in handy on longer rides out of town. For me it's a lot better, more stable than the Kuryakyn "Tombstone" integrated backrest bag. The bag actually works, you get 1", 2" and 3" foam backrest pad but you have very little room in the bag to put "stuff."
The backrest is leather but not exactly the same color/texture of the stock seats; stock seats use a higher quality leather.
All in all, works well since the Sundowner wasn't a good option for me. Sundowner sit me lower and closer which put my ankles on the Mustache hwy pegs.

Thats pretty cool backrest you told us about WARG. I am tryn to figure out when I wanted to ride to Hollister (600+ miles one way) (corbin)...
Wonder ..eh I still need a two piece seat.. wont use my stock one(flaps rub back fender).
but with that rest, my options on seats kinda expanded...maybe look at some CC seat if that have a two piece
then ask firehouse for a back rest
my options on a corbin(full options) would be running in the 1k area..
my options on a mustang would run close to 800..

I just need to ride my Corbin enough to make sure I love it as much as I did the Mustang.
Keep me in mind if you want to go that direction.
