Default My New To Me 2009 FLSTC...

Hello,

After about 24 years without a motorcycle, I fianlly took the plunge and bought that Heritage. I have wanted one of these since the late 1980's.
I found a used one with 10k miles on it at a dealer in NC about 140 miles away. The price was really good after some haggling and I have been enjoying the ride for about a month now.

It came with Rush slip on pipes with 2" baffles. Sounds real nice! It also came with the engine guard/highway pegs, luggage rack and a leather pouch behind the windshield for small items.
I plan on keeping it as is with the exception of some chrome trim for the headlights and turn signal lights and a brighter tail light assembly.

Scott

Oh yeah, I love this bike! The Flame blue two tone looks real classy. I was going to get a new 2011 Heritage, but the only color choice I liked for that year was Vivid Black. My last Harley was black, so I checked out this 09 and fell in love with it.

How long does it take for me to lose this s#!t eating grin on my face every time I ride it ?

Here's a 1600 pixel sepia tone image of it:

I've also got the same colors. Like mine a lot. Consider sending your bags off to www.bossbags.com and they will look great for a long time. 15,000 miles on mine and not a problem. Congrats.

Congrats!! Very nice ride indeed. Looks like it's got a lot of sweet extras too. I love the white walls. Will definitely be adding those myself at the next tire change. Now get out there and get some miles on that thing! Safely, of course.
