Default Loving the crossbones!!!!!! And a Question

Greetings from Nashville,TN. I have been lurking and getting some awesome ideas for upgrades on my bones. Its a Vivid black 2011. It already has pipes, a power commander, and a brawler seat. I want to lower it about 2 inches. The brawler seat did wonders but I like the look of a fender hugging the back tire as well. Im 5'6'' so it can only help. My question is how long should it really take a stealership to put on the jp cycles burn out kit? Assuming they will even do it at all. thanks again

I wouldn't let a dealer do that kit. Too easy to do yourself or find a partner to help you out. The dealer will rob you for installing that kit!

Well im not real familiar with shocks and suspension. Im gonna get a service manual and see what I can figure out first. I was just curious as to how long it should take.

damn bro lay off the hater-aide.

Nah bro what you need to do is get an air ride set up so you get a quality ride and the option to slam the bike when you want.

Congrats on the new Bones! Definitely one of the best looking models from HD! I can't help you with any advice about the burn-out kit, but others here with more experience most certainly can. Post pics when you get the chance!

I've never let a dealer work on mine. Ride the thing for a bit before you start modding the thing. You may change your mind about what mods to do. Or at least the order they get done. Air ride is a great way to go. You can get the look you want when ya want it. And the better ride when ya need that. You drop it another 2 inches and you've basicly got a hardtail. And you've taken HDs worst handling bike and made it more so.
