The tank is so shiney it's hard to get a good photo, there's too much background reflection. But it's ghosted, it has a 3D effect in the light, and is subdued in the shade.
U bought one of the bones... voted in here a while back one of the ugliest HD's sold....

why would you even say that or bring it up..thats just rude and wrong altogether dude..he just purchased a new bike and you crap on it..well he may not like your either...seems silly anyway the only difference between a fx springer and the bones is the front tire size the bones is an fl which has the smaller rim size and fatter tire as you know..really look at any fx springer they have a bobtail rear fender and a small front fender only difference is the seat which is uncomfortable anyway..
