coming from a guy with fringe all over his bike....nice
That's like 3 different levels of LOL's right there.
Anyways I didn't quote it, but whoever said to ride the bike before you start modding it is correct.. put 1000 miles on it, get your first service done, then start changing things on it.. it's the logical thing to do.
+1 on ride it, I've changed my mind a dozen times on the direction I want to go. I think I've made my mind up on what I'm going to do. And as for the hater, Thumper from Bambi said, " if you don't have anything nice to say.............
Greetings from Nashville,TN. I have been lurking and getting some awesome ideas for upgrades on my bones. Its a Vivid black 2011. It already has pipes, a power commander, and a brawler seat. I want to lower it about 2 inches. The brawler seat did wonders but I like the look of a fender hugging the back tire as well. Im 5'6'' so it can only help. My question is how long should it really take a stealership to put on the jp cycles burn out kit? Assuming they will even do it at all. thanks again

You can drop it yourself 1" with the http://www.softailloweringkit.com/ they have a link to Youtube where you can see how easy it is to install. You take 2 nuts off and put a spacer and a new washer in. That is all there is to it. 30 mins you can do it.
Might also want to look into the Shotgun shock system.
I like the burnout cycles kit. I talked the dealer into only charging me 45 minutes labor during my 1000 mile. With a 2 year old running around, I need all the time I can get to ride.
FWIW, I get rave comments wherever I go over my rendition of the XBNZ. It is a great platform to work on. Ride what YOU like, and pay no attention to others insecurity.
