Default Seat help

Getting ready to order a C&C solo seat for my Deluxe. I am torn between getting a fender bib or not. I do like the looks of a bare fender and removing the plastic on the fender under the passenger pillion. The fender bib looks decent and could get one to match the seat I am getting. Majority of the time I ride solo and rarely have a passenger.

My question comes when I do put a passenger pillion on the fender without the plastic I am guessing this is where I am going to miss that plastic. Is there something you guys use to help protect the fender from getting scratched?

Thx for any help

The plastic is there so that the seat will not scratch the fender. Get a fender bib and leave the plastic on. I used to hate the look of the bibs too but they eventually grew on me.

Hey Keebee,

I am like you and mostly ride one up. I removed my plastic but when I do ride two up I'm going to run with the suction style passenger seat. Going this route nothing to scratch the rear fender.

Thx for the advice I am really torn. I do have some bad luck that follows me. If I don't get the custom bib to match the custom seat I will never get it to match.

Ah well whats another 110 bucks.

I like the look of the bare fender sans bib. But if you are going to use the bib, do as Drew said and leave the plastic in place.

Here is a pic of my C&C and no bib.

I took the plastic off and stuck it to the underside of the bib

Just bit the bullet and ordered a C&C seat and fender bib. Still might end up taking the film off my fender. Just wanted to make sure the bib and seat match.
