You might need to check the cam chain tensioner.

So, other than that and the every 2500 mile adjustment up front... It's a pretty decent bike?

the only problem I see with them is they keep running out of gas. Simple remedy me thinks.

Good luck with the new scoot.

2005 FLSTSC - If it has spoke wheels, it has tubes in the tires. I love my Springer, though. Name: FLSTSCwithbags003.jpg

as mentioned the Cam Chain tensioner/Bearing the only other major issue is the bike super awesome look may get you laid in a much higher frequency than other bikes (most Harleys do by the way), so, youth, Vitamins or lots of Viagra, you can't get financing for those though

They are great bikes, very retro and will always be a classic! Engine wise the only thing is the cam chain tensioners, but at 20,000 miles they probably dont need anything right now, later upgade to the SE Hyd tensioner and oil pump and your set.

How much are they asking? Just curious what that might go for. It's a sweet bike. You'll love the ride.

they are asking too much...
im a cheap SOB...
my roadglide is 148/month
its worth more than the springer....
so if i dont get near the same payment, or lower, I will walk no problem..
I dont need to buy a bike..
they need to sell a bike..
So if i dont get it for 7000 or so OTD.... then i just go home on my roadglide...

Whats the old saying??
"Lets split up,
you go this way....
I go home!!"

Thanks for the replies...
it is my fav bike of all time.. but i cant and wont think with my eyes and heart...
my wallet, and wife who keeps our finances straight, and the bills paid (with my money)
keeps our ship floating!
