yep, got them today. they had some grease pre-applied. They did seem a bit longer than the stockers, stealer only had one of the retainers in stock. That's OK, 2 seemed like a bit of overkill....

don't need dielectric grease but it is a good idea to use it. It's really a matter of opinion. I use it on "all electrical connections". I buy it by the large tube. Good stuff!! A good quality black wire tie makes for an excellent retainer for plug wires and a bunch of other uses. I keep a variety of sizes on hand. Simple/easy fix and if you trim the excess off they look as good as anything else. Period!! Woody

Yeah, I used to have a big pack of zip ties, but my wife and kids used them all on the cage for their gineau pigs. It was OK though, because my trip to the dealer for a $1 wire tie also got me front and rear turn signal visors....lol

Like everything else these days it seems, the quality of the SE wires is dubious. In my case the clips on the ends did not grab the electrodes on the coil properly. I kept getting error codes because the spark was jumping the gap between the coil terminals and the wire clips after I had ridden for a couple of weeks (so I didn't relate it to the wires, initially). Took me a while to figure that one out and it really isn't easy getting the clips to be the 'just right' diameter once they are screwed up.
