i love your bike.yes it is real gold on the gas tank emblem.i take real good care of this bike.i ride it sparingly.it,s my first bike i ever owned.
by the way,is your bike brilliant silver?

 

If his is an 02 like mine the color should be diamond ice.I believe colors match the year.something like that.
