Default Need tire advice for BF 04 fatboy

I am usually lurking around they dyna forum or QOTR but I was hoping you boys may be able to give me some help here in the softail forum.
My boyfriend has a 04 fatboy - beautiful bike - and after our one and only ride of the season, we realized he is going to need a rear tire. He wants to go with a fatter rear and I was hoping you guys could help me out - how fat can we go with stock fender? Also wondering if anyone has pics of a fatboy with whitewalls. I thought I might surprise him with a little gift of full set of tires if the whitewalls would look cool. I think they would look amazing but he is still on the fence. Hoped pics might help. I searched around here but couldn't find anything but then again, I had major dental surgery yesterday and am a bit doped up so maybe I missed something.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys!!

You may be limited to the wider rear tire, as I was with my 04'. I did go with a 150 and have no fender clearance issues.

I did find some pics so I guess these pain pills are really messing with me a bit. Any help would still be appreciated with tire size, though.
Thanks

150, possibly 160 for the rear tire. I have some pics of my bike with whitewalls. Let me see if i can find them.

Check this thread, it has pics of my bike with whitewalls.

Thanks Drew. She's a gorgeous ride!! The pics have me sold. Cant wait for my man to get home in a bit to see the pics. He'll love them too.
Are they really that hard to keep clean? I keep seeing in other posts what a pain they are to clean but with all the chrome he has on that bike, we're always washing it anyway.
Thanks for your help. Now to see how expensive they are.....I'd rather good $$ on good tires. That doesn't really bother me. They are the only thing between you and the road.

Boy you sound like me talking about tires. Get some Metzelers. they are not inexpensive but too bad. Keeping them clean is not that big of a deal.
