Need advice on buying a Deuce
#21
I decided to go ahead and get the 01' after seeing them in person. I had a few questions maybe someone could help me out.
1) What kind of pipes are those?
2) Could someone point me in the direction for a new headlight? The one it has a small dent on the top, would like to get one longer and sleeker than the factory one.
3) What all is required to tuck all the cables/wires into the handle bars? Would like to clean that up and replace the lines with braided steel if possible.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Great choice. That's a killer lookin' bike.
3. First thing I did was buy the Harley signal relocation kit and move the front signals from the bars to the forks. Then I hid the wiring in the bars. Buying a service manual will benefit you greatly as I removed the tank to get to the plug where everything ties into. I had to lengthen my wires just a little. Also had to drill the bottom of the stock bars for a place for the wiring to exit. Overall pretty easy and really cleans up the front end. As far as cables I used a company called Magnum Shielding and ordered all stock lengths except for the rear brake line as I have 3" extended forward controls. Again, great looking bike.
