True UAE, plus believe it or not I like the gap! NTM there is precious little suspension travel as it is and some of the roads i ride are not the best.

The air ride system is cool though, maybe further down the line. I think my curent plan will be to get those new tires on the bike, and i ordered a cool shift linkage and arm cover from Kuryakyn.

i am going to mock something up for a spring saddle 'cause i think i can do it on the cheap, while i save for a couple of weeks for the inevitable DG

and yes RIP a tan, or brown leather seat has come into my head but then i'd need to get matching bags, maybe one of those swing arm bags in brown...i need a second job to pay for motorcycle stuff....but then i would have less time to enjoy it...uhg

i guess some of the fun of all this is the distraction of planning things out...how does the saying go... be smart enough to understand the game, and dumb enough to think it's important.

witch would u suggest danny gray seat w/gel or w/out or does it really matter?????

 

the danny gray seat isfor my wife's 2010 Rocker..gel or no gel ,,the seat she loves has no gel...the reason im asking....

 

i have the gel and love it, can't say for the non gel

I have been using a reg. rocker seat, which seats lower and farther back than the rocker c seat. But, I'm switching now to the danny gray seat. Interested in the bitchen seat, but very pricey and I'm concerned about it riding rough...don't want to go down that road.
