it's a piece of automotive double sided tape.. the easiest way is to get some kind of heat gun (either an actual heat gun on low, or a super mega high power hair dryer), grab a piece of fishing line (8lb test worked for me), and get a friend (though you can do it yourself).. as one person heats up the glue on the tape it'll expand and get sticky again, then take the line and kind of cut through it like you would with dental floss and just pull the tape away.. then use some goof off or something to get the stickiness gone..thats about it

Heat them up with a hair dryer then use some fishing line or dental floss to remove them. Then I used warm soapy water to remove the leftover adhesive. Some have used googone but I was afraid of messing up the paint on the fender.

You can heat it up with a blow dryer in one hand, and use a paint stick to pry it off with the other hand. (Sharpen the edge with sandpaper to make it easier to get under whatever it is you want to pry off, I did this with the goofy backrest medallion)

Goo Gone to clean it up.

I wasnt sure what was behind them holding them on. Didnt want to start peeling and end up with a bigger mess.

Be careful and don't get carried away with the Goo-Gone, you'll rub through your clear coat. Some have used WD-40 with good success. And "JK" with my previous post; I just couldn't resist...
