I went with all SE parts.Didn't use high compression pistons to avoid compression releases.9.4 is enough on the street for me.
You'll get several different responses saying what to use.I just chose a setup out of the SEcatalog and bought the parts and did it myself. You'll have a decent idea of what to expect thet way.You can check out nightrider.com and see some of the combinations of what people have done and what they dynoed at.Some places you can get 20% for buying a certain amount.
95" pistons
95" cylinders
203 cams
Ignition&coil
Top end gasket kit
Cam installation kit.
I bought these parts for $850.00.Another $115.00 for the dealership to swap my cams and replace the tensioners.Of course I took my cam plate in for them to do it, but it was a lot cheaper than buying th tools.

95" kit
257 cam/adjustable pushrods
CNC HTCC SE heads
SE HTCC pistons
SE intake
SE ignition (6200)
Mikuni 42
Thunderheader

That was my build on my Night Train and it screamed! Was told by an engine builder that he would have went with the perfect fit pushrods instead of adjustables...nothing to come out of adjustment.

I also had manual compression releases...nothing wrong with them, helps save your starter and battery.

Take care,
Baldman
