Default Fender Bib?

What do you guys do with the two bolts on the fender? I though I should have something in the holes.

I was planning on just keeping them in and putting the bib over it, but the bib doesn't sit flush now. Or will it form when it gets warmer out?

see

as a FatBoy owner with a bib, i don't have those bolts there.. but what you could do is go down to your local hardware store and just get some smaller-headed bolts that will act as a filler in the hole, but not jut upwards as far..ya know?

are you talking about the 2 bolts that hold the seat on? or where it's making the bib arch?

edit: nvm..i think i follow what you're saying.. it's bolted on correctly, but it doesn't fit right which is why it's arching?

i was looking at where it's arched and thought you had 2 other bolts on the fender that were keeping it propped up.. are you sure they gave you the right part number? 52018-08?

I also ordered the Mustang bib; I was not happy with it's appearance as it laid similar to yours...and yes I ordered the correct part.

I took it off, but will probably use it when I run the passenger seat to protect the fender. Here's what I ended up doing...kinda' prefer the nekkid look anyway.

Just to throw an option at you if you decide you don't like the bib...I put a rack on mine when I take off the passenger seat
