Ok so What I ended up doing was taking off the derby cover and just placing the new one with nothing behind it.... Damn am I a newbie.... What do I need to place behind it? Because the Battistini Derby cover is different in the back than the original one... I am uploading pictures... Also if fixed (or if I just put the stock ones for now) do I need to add fluid somewhere? Also, should the inside of my primary be straight in the middle? it seems a little off and lower than then middle. also its dripping right under where the derby cover is.......

You need a derby cover gasket. Go to the dealer and ask for one at the parts counter. they will get you what you need.

Yes, Your clutch and all that should not be centered in the derby cover. Pour in the proper amount of primary fluid through the derby cover, should be ~ 40 ounces.

as for putting a Harley gasket on a Battistini primary..idk about that one

Its not a battistini primary its just the derby cover... the thing is they look completely different in the back, although it says that it will fit a 2009 fatboy. I put a picture above if someone could check and see what they think....

The stock cover uses a big O-ring. The accessory/aftermarket covers use a flat gasket. (Gasket P/N 25416-99C)

The Harley fiber primary gasket is what you need. The stock primary cover has an o-ring that seals the primary. The fiber gasket will seal a flat type primary cover perfectly.

Perfect thank you all for the help. I am going to go to the dealer tomorrow and get a flat derby cover gasket. also think its a good idea to drain and refill the fluid in the primary... should I drain it? because if I do not drain it, how will I know how much fluid to add?? I feel like a lost alot of fluid these last couple of days...

I don't think draining is necessary. they say in the manual that the level of fluid shoudl be up to the very bottom of the clutch basket.
