crossbones 150 front
I saw that thread a while back, but the thread starter hasn't been online since December. Has anyone else run a 150 on the front of the Cross bones? What width rim would it need to be? It looked in his post as if he was on stock rim? Anyone know how it rides/handles? I am thinking about making this swap when it comes time for new rubber.

Any help?
I'm asking a similar question here about an Avon on a Fatboy here:

Don't know if that helps, the MT90 thing throws me off.

you know, if someone would make some fender reloction brackets for the crossbones, they would probably sell pretty well. I know they have them for touring bikes and stuff, the front fender thing really limits Crossbones owners. I want to change to a 21" front wheel, but don't want to not have a front fender.

Does anyone know what the width of the factory tire is? Like said above the M90 designations screw with me...also, this may be a silly question, but how does the bike get the speed and odometer readings? Is it based on tire rotation? Would changing the overall diameter of your wheel/tire affect your speedo/odometer? It can with certain cars which is why I ask.

I'm pretty sure that the speedo runs off the transmission...I know that it doesn't run off the front wheel...try doing a burnout, your speedo will show how fast the rear tire is moving.

I am thinking about going with the Metzeler ME 880 Marathon 150/80-16 as it's overall size is 153mm. And they make a front tire for it. Most 150s seem to be rears.
