After doing some more research, I decided on forgoing the Metzeler 150 because it will be too wide to fit. It's 19mm wider than stock. I decided on a 130 Metzeler instead, which is still 142mm, so a little bit wider. Metzeler doesn't seem to make a 140 front that will work, which would have been nice.

I just bought a 21/140 metzeler for my ride wright fat 50. But since RW sent me an 18" rim instead of my 21" I am left to wait until it arrives, maybe next week? My bike is sittin on the wrenches lift waiting to mock up a fender bracket to mount the stock fender. Waiting sucks ***!! I am not very good at it...

I remember the original thread and I will be fitting a 150 on the front and 210 on the back I do remember him saying he had to pull the fender slightly to get it in

How about a 200 on the front, and a 230 on the rear?

I'm running a Dunlop 150 on my front. Stock rim, no modifications to fender. Rides fine to me.

Metzeler's run larger than Dunlops, and I don't think it will fit. What model of Dunlop do you have?

As promised - pics and specs. It's a Dunlop D404F. I think it's the second one listed on this page: http://www.dunlopmotorcycle.com/tire...tire.asp?id=37. Excuse the dust, she's getting a bath this weekend!

Im thinking to try Metzeler ME880 Marathon Front 150/80/16 as front tire on the crossbones. instead of 150/90/16. would probably be fine coz the tire is less taller than stock, no? Im also running a lowering kit on the back so it should be fine, I guess. what do you think ? should I go for it?
