what is the best cams for 103
i have stag2 103 upgrad and it comes whit cams 255
i have the 255 cams and i didnt like it because it give a lot of power from low RPM and when it go's 4500 RPM the power go's down like a rock
so i need cams that gives power midrang and topend

so plz

The Stg 3 kit comes with 259e cams. Take a close look at their specs.

 

Woods TW 5-6!!! If you go any bigger(later intake close).you will need to raise compression.Stick to bolt in cams & Woods delivers!!! Ask me how i know??? lol

 

Look at the dyno sheets above in the "DYNO" Numbers For SOFTAILS.

 

A couple of guys I ride with used the SE259e cams and got around 100 HP and 109 ft lbs of torque in their 103's. These were all touring bikes, 2 street glides and 1 RK

 

i have the 255's on my 103. Yes, it makes huge torque at low end, but does not run out of power at higher rpm's as you describe. i also have a few other mods that might affect this also.
