I recently did a 103 in my 2010 Fatboy Lo and used the 259E cams. My dyno numbers are 111.18 hp and 116.94 tq. The only other mods are D&D Fatcat and PCV.

With the 259e cams do you need to change the compression at all? Or are they just bolt ins.?

I was told by the builder to get the benefit of the 259E cams you need to increase your compression. my compression is 10.5:1

Post this question in the Tech forum, engines. There are builders on there who will give you soild advice on which cam to choose based on where you want the power.

Personally, I don't know why you'd want to rev an H-D motor much past the 4k mark (let alone 4500 or beyond) before shifting and you'd be pushing 100 mph or so, cruising in 6th in that rpm range. Truth is, there just aren't that many bolt-in/stand-alone cams that hold on much past the 4500 rpm range (for the reasons I stated above) without additional engine work. That being said, you might want to look at something like the S&S 585 cam. It's rated to perform well between 3 & 6k, but the trade-off is that you don't get quite as much torque & hp as grinds rated for lower rpms.
I agree that you'll get much better advice from the tech forums here or over at the Harley Tech Talk forums...

I luv the 255! At first I thought 'eh'...then quickly realized I was getting to 100 in no time and still some torque to give. Since I don't go much past 100 when I am in the mood, they are perfect for my style. Passing power is what I asked for...and I sure got a ton of it.

The 555 and the 777 both drop off pretty quickly as a stand-alone in a 103 build:

I really like the performance I get from the Andrews 26H's I have in my 103 build. Real World power for me is when I whack the throttle wide open at 1,500 RPM. This is where this build definitely delivers. There are bikes that make more on a Dyno, and from a standing start they are definitely impressive . . . but once rolling on the street they have to downshift to keep up with me, and by the time they release the clutch after their downshift I'm l-o-n-g gone.

If you are bumping compression the SE257 will make good power all the way to redline.
