Default Forks hit Lindby Unibar engine guard on Crossbones?

I just picked up a Lindy Unibar BL1411 that is listed as fitting all 2000+ softails... but, when I install it on my 2010 Crossbones, the forks actually hit the guard when doing a tight right or left turn....

It bothers me that they are touching at all!

Is this something typical of engine guards?

More than likely, something more to do with the rake/trail of the Crossbones springer frontend.

I'd contact the vender and explain your problem. Worth a shot. Maybe they have one with the clearance needed and will let you trade.

I agree. If they do not fit and are listed as fitting they may not be aware of the problem.

I wouldn't call it typical, definitely not the intended fitment....lol, +1 to what they said give the manufacturer a shout and see what they say....
