Default Risers......the long and short of it.

I presently have straight 5 1/2" risers on my '06 Nighttrain with a 4" pullback and 0" rise drag bar. Does anyone know the shortest risers I can install with this same bar without interfering with the tank? I'd like to get some feedback on this instead of just buying a shorter set and "finding out the hard way"......

Any insight would be much appreciated!!

Are those the stock-style bars? If so, there are some guys who have used 4" risers without tank interference.

Yes they are the same style but aftermarket. I'll have to do some research and see what the specs are on a stock bar and compare.....just "eyeballing" it I would guess a 4" riser would be about the limit!!

Sweet bike btw! Looks like you put a lot of time and thought into it......congrats!

Thank you but someone took that pleasure away from me last month (guy took my lane in a pickup). Not too bad of damage, but enough to want to change some stuff up again.
3" are short enough to get things into the tank. Not sure if 3.5" would work with the lo clearance radius throttle cables or not......
