Question XBones Riser Helicoil size

Trying to install some dry wall screen to stop the bars from slipping. Stripped out a screw hole.
Just wondering for anyone that has put helicoils in their Crossbones risers, what size they used? I going to order some online, so either a link or the size would be awesome.

I did drywall screen and helicoil in all 4 holes and my bars wont budge now. I will check tonight what size they were. Just go to any auto parts store and they will have them.

Wish I could brother, but I'm in Germany not the same here. I'm going to order them online, or just order a new Riser.

You need a 5/16-18 Heli Coil kit. Mine is an Emhart Teknologies kit no. 5521-5. It comes with the Heli Coil inserts, tap and Heli Coil insertion tool. You'll need a 21/64 (.328) drill bit. I had to drill out one of my riser holes, but will do the other three to try and tighten the bars enough to stop slippage.

In an odd way this is one of the best mods I have done. More of a repair I know. But bars are set in concrete now.

Might as well do all four holes then while I'm at it.
