Question V-Factor Oil Cooler on a FLSTC

Just read on another forum that this cooler will not work on a FL style bike. Every distributor I find lists my bike as an application though. Anyone have first hand knowledge if this will work without contacting the front fender with forks compressed? I really don't wanna hafta' replace a fender. Thanks.

I have not heard that about this one, but I would recommend having a look at the UltraCoolFL oil cooler with automatic fan as an option for your bike as the softail version has just become available. I am waiting on mine to be delivered. TYhis will keep you bike much cooler than a regular oil cooler. You read about it here. I sell it at a nice discount as well.

Says it's for Softails but lists all Touring bikes at the bottom. A little pricier than I was looking too.

The softail is newly available and their website has not been updated yet. i can save you $50 on it. Either way, it is the only oil cooler I will bother adding to my bike as most coolers will only cool your oil by about 10 degrees. This will cool it much more. Either way, I thought I would point it out to you.
