wifes gonna kill me but,
My helmet search is over, DanielBG has 3/4 DOT flat black with dime thick padding like my outlaw ax! Now I have 1 full, 1 3/4, and 2 outlaw halfs!

It also appears the polo lids are a little narrower. The plus with the other helmets, those with snaps or screws, is that you can put on a small shield in the rain. Some of us don't have room to pack two helmets, especially when packing two people.

I just placed an order for a 2x. I hope it fits. I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber, but once I know it fits, I figure I'll send it to Brett & get him to stripe it up.

I waited a little bit myself without any notice that it's on it's way and then BAMM it was there on the doorstep. I think 10 to 20 days is expected. Anything longer then 3 weeks then I'd call. But it shows up, no mention that it's on it's way so it's probably in transit to you now.

Does anyone have input on the Outlaw Retro? The Retro is a 3/4 DOT helmet. The one below happens to have speakers built in (for MP3 etc) and looks good.

ACC sold their carbon fiber/kevlar helmets as DOT certified.They were supposed to be the lightest. lowest fitting DOT around.After some testing was done they failed one or more of the criteria to meet DOT standards.There was a recall on the helmets.Some got full refunds but many got nothing.It was a pricey helmet.ACC went under.They opened under a new name Composite Craft/Head Trip Helmets.They are now sold as non dot.Sorry for the late response I was on vacation.
