That one looks too small. The front edge should be down near your eyebrows. It looks like it's perched up on top of your head. Just sayin'

I was ordering a fender at Jailhouse Choppers and noticed they had a Daytona helmet display. I tried on a Daytona 3/4 Cruiser and ordered it immediately! Comfortable and light weight. I didn't think it would happen, but I may send my Fulmer V2 Bobber into an early retirement.

AW SNAP can you please take pics of the inside of your Jarz lid . your seems to fit quite a bit higher than mine. Im wondering if the shell of yours is still an XL or XXL, and they added more padding. If you can take a pic of a penny or something against the padding so we can get an idea of the thickness.

I am ordering the low pro carbon Outlaw helmet this week. Can anyone recommend a good quick release?

I will take a few pics tonight when I get home with a penny. It sure looked to me like they had more padding then the picture previously posted in the past with the penny. I did squish the padding in the top of the helmet with a 12" softball (Breaking in my helmet like I am breaking in a baseball glove) and it fits a little better and closer to the brow but it still sits a bit to tall I think. I'll re-shot that photo also.

I bought one of those..seems to work well enough, hasn't given me any grief opening and closing it.. though i've noticed that it takes me just as much time to lace the strap closed as it does to use the quick-release.

That's the one I was thinking of getting. I don't have much trouble myself with the D-rings, unless I have my gloves on. My girl, on the other hand, thinks D-rings are the work of the devil. Figured I would buy a couple and see how they work out.

Is there any way to lock the helmet to the bike after installation of the quick release?

Here are few pictures to give you an idea of padding size. It looks like the shell is the same and more padding is added to make this a small helmet. I overwrote the photos from last nights post now that I smashed down the padding a bit.

Fastening the strap helps too. My Fulmer V2 sits high until I buckle it up then it is nice and Lo.
