Right on, I was already planning out how to do your sugar skull. After you talked about wanting some lettering, I got some lettering brushes, should be here Friday....I need to get a handle on it anyway, one of the guys here wants some script on his back fender. The XL Rockhard I got never got sent back. One of my Brothers in the CVMA saw mine, wanted to try on the XL and now its his...lol I think my wife wants one of the metalflakes. I will probably get another one as back up.....Shawn does some sick work. Helmets are actually pretty difficult. Its hard to do a good grid layout so you really have to eyeball some stuff....

Hell yeah, I talked to shawn about doin a suger skull, but instead just went with a old school skull with red leaf and pin stripping. Got the Black mega flake, so it should be Nasty.
I was gonna get the flat one, but seen one of the mega's and had to have it.

That does sound like its gonna be sweet. Leafing is next....apparently the pinstriping is a never ending cycle. I am working on striping, then lettering, then leafing....dammit
I am doing one of our guys non-DOT skid lid next week I think. Its flat black and I am going to put down some red and yellow stripes....want to do my Rockhard, but waiting until I figure out what I am going to do on my bike after I get it repainted...that's going to be a while though.

I love this forum, but sometimes I walk away more confused than when I started, lol.
I scanned most of the 300+ posts and decided to buy the Outlaw AX-30030 Matte Carbon-Fiber half helmet from LeatherUp. Seemed to get more thumbs up than down. This all started because my 8 year old daughter told me I looked like a bubble head in the helmet I bought a couple weeks ago. That one is a 300 Explorer from Iron Horse. A well built helmet for the money, and very light, but not as low profile as I had hoped. Also, regretted that I bought a glossy helmet when I ride a Black Denim Lo. Just wasn't right.
Thanks (I think) for all the discussion.

Is there such a thing as a low profile DOT? I have a big head. I have tried on a lot of helmets and they all look like mushrooms. The last I bought was a Skid Lid. Too big for my tastes. If I leave the skull cap it might be for a full face. At least you lose the mushroom look.
