Yea I dont have any thoughts that this helmet will provide maximum safety in the event of an accedent, but honestly if thats your major concern, then I dont think any beanie style helmet is a good idea. most of the injuries sustained in a motorcycle related crash are on the lower part of your face, and especially your chin. the only reason I want a DOT helmet, is to keep the cops of my *** and not have to pay hella tickets.

I kinda have a feeling the guys who are willing to wear novelty helmets are in the same boat.

I will tho, be picking up a Licks novdot in flat black for those long rides =)

I can dig it. I have been riding over 25 years, and never had an accident. I have had a few minor lay downs. I always drive very defensive. The times I almost had a bad one was showing my butt. Here is a link of the helmet I ordered. I also ordered a quick diconnect for it.

Hey Fab, thanks for your info man and your guy rocks (although my price wasn't as good as yours). Hopefully I'll have that in my hands in a few days.

Rad, Fab. I had missed those pics of the Canadian lid and it is **** up! The ones I had ordered from Kirk came in small, and am returning. (the one I ordered for me fit mama, so she gets it). Her's goes back and I am getting one of those. Hi-Priced, but opposed to a $140 ticket, It's a deal. Styling Legal, yee-haa. Thanks.

Think he's talking about a Licks NovDot 3/4 helmet

Never mind looked again, didn't realize they weren't in stock at Licks
