Why don't they just come with a Stage-1 gift certificate? That way the EPA will still be happy with the off the line bike and the owners will be happy with their purchase.

Oh by the way nice bike.

I used both...I started with VH big radius 2-2 because I loved the way they looked....then I rode a bike with the VH BR 2-1 and LOVED the way it sounded. 2-2 are higher pitched and "poppier"...2-1 is throatier and adds some performance.

Had the 2005 Dark Blue & Pearl paint. Absolutely loved the look, but got sick of cleaning it. Lots of chrome and the white walls are a pain. I liked how low it rode. We do a lot of touring and the bike just didn't fit that kind of riding. Traded to '09 FLHT but still have a soft spot for that bike. Another thing, any time we pulled into a biking event, my Deluxe got 10x more comments about being so beautiful than any other bike in the group. It almost looks like a show bike. Congratulations on the bike. I never get sick of looking at it.

Thanks. Bikersurgeon thanks for your input on the 2-1. That's actually what I am looking for in sound.

Choosing between the Rocker & Deluxe is like choosing between Rosie O'Donnel & Jennifer Anniston. I mean, C'MON!!

You made the right choice. I think the Deluxe is one of the 2 best looking Harleys made today (other is SuperGlide Custom) Good luck with that gorgeous sled!

Not sure if the Big Radius is the right choice for the Deluxe--modern styling of the pipes doesn't seem to mix well with the nostalgic look of the bike. But that's just my opinion.

I'd go with the SEST & Screamin' Eagle A/C. Can't go wrong with that & HD techs seem most familiar with it.
