Default Question about Crossbones Stock Air Cleaner Cover

Hey guys,

First, here's my set up:

Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner
Stock header pipes
Rush mufflers - 1.75" baffles
Stock air cleaner cover

Am I getting enough air flow into the engine with the stock cover, or do I need to cut open a panel on the bottom of the cover? The stock cover looks great on the Crossbones, but fits close enough where there isn't a lot of room between the filter and the cover, but the back is completely open. Is the air flow good enough when I'm riding? Do I really need to cut into the stock cover?

I have the stock cover over SE air cleaner
Have the TTS mastertune and did a V-tune, no difference at all with with cover or without. Plenty of air gets in.

agreed, I would not cut it, it's wide open in the back.

Thanks for your replys! Those are the answers I was hoping to hear and wanted to make sure before I did anything I'd later regret. The other option would've been to get the black anodized forged billet cover (inverted V) knowing that it wouldn't quite match the Crossbones style. I'll leave it the way I have it set up, then.
