Default Need help..want new rear fender?
I have an 06 fxst with 200mm rear tire. I can't stand the look of the bobtail fender. Don't want to spend the money for a heartland kit so... was thinking, could I swap out a fender from another model, like a fatboy, where the fender wraps around the tire better and keep the current struts so the wife can keep the brackets for her backrest to ride with me? Any help appreciated.

Yes. A fender off any '07 and up Fatboy is a straight swap.

Not to steal the thread, but i want to do the same thing to my FXST. Mines an '05. Can i assume that anything '07 and down would bolt right up to mine?

'06 and down, Mikey..... Fat Boy, Heritage, Deluxe.......

oh...... sorry, not sure when they converted to the 150 tire on those, so you may want to ask around. I know my '05 Heritage Classic had the 150 tire tho.
