I'm getting ready to buy some apes and I've narrowed it down to Gangster Apes, Flyin' Apes or Wild 1 Chubbys. I want 13" or 14" because I'm about 5',9'', so I think anything else would be stretching too much. I like the looks of all three....the Gangster Apes are definitely unique, but the Flyin' Apes are nice too. I like the Wild 1s just based on Bobberevo88s sled....so I really just have to pick a set.

 

Go with the Wild 1's bro. The money you save you can put it towards something else and your ride will still look killer. If your gonna go with Carlinni's...Flying Apes have my vote.

 

You can't beat the Wild Ones if you want pullback on your apes. I am 5' 10"
and wanted more pullback. I couldn't find any better than the Wild Ones. I have em on my Fatboy and Street Glide.

 

Quatlity and fit on Wild 1's are tops...

 

I put 16" Wild One Chubbys With 1.5" risers on my Deluxe. Im 5-10. I got them from HCC. Bars,controls,wiring,cables,brake line all under 7 bills. Easy 4 hour install.

My vote is for the Gangster Apes. I love mine but Im a tall fella. I like the wild 1's too, just not my style.

i got wild 1's im 5'7 and i have 16" they fit me perfect

 

I'm 5' 10" and went with 14" x 1.5 thick gangsters perfect for me.
Carlini's are worth the scratch fer sure.

 

I have the 18" Wild 1 Psycho Chubbys on one bike and the 16" Carlini Flying Apes going on a second bike. I am just under 6 foot. The Chubbys have worked great for me but I wanted a different look on the 2nd bike.
