whats going on guys??? Im planning more mods for when I get home in 2 months (overseas supporting Military) and want some input.

Ill be adding new 16" apes, Shotgun air suspension, PM brakes, and a few other things.

But cant decide if I should repaint my tins...... what you think of Military Desert tan and leaving the rest black???

Here's what she looks like now.... 2010 FLSTSB and has a WWII ****** jeep taillight...... wanted to go OD Green but its been done a lot.

an urban green would be sweet too!! just my 2 cents! thanks for the service and your bike will look good no matter what you decide to do!

 

I really want to see one in that paint harley had for a couple years. It was called crimson red denim I believe, saw it on a Night Train once, it was sweet. Shortly after that they had the red hot denim on a Road Glide and Street Glide, but it was a little different.

 

I say leave the paint and do the rest of the mods. Your bike looks good as is. Have a safe return.

 

If you want to add a color, I'd say get the sides of the tank and the sides of the front and rear fender tan. Then a nice subtle color of pinstriping to separate the two colors. I think all tan is too much tan. Just my opinion. Kind of like this bike. Thanks for your serive as well!

Do what you want, but I wouldn't touch the paint.

 

If you paint it all tan, it will look like a WWII Kraut Can.

 

I think the tan would look sick. Maybe do a dark brown and the OD Green pinstripe

I like that paint. A good paint job for all the tins will be over 1k, save your money for other goodies.
