i love my 2010 rocker c there is nothing i enjoy more than hearing those vance&hines rumbling as i go down the road.the one problem is the seat (it sucks). i hate to beat a dead horse but here goes another question. i weigh about 255 and that dg seat looks real close i know the seat comes this a clear plastic for the fender.iam worried that with the dg seat will allway hit and deform because of my weight. is there any rider that have a rocker and the seat and weigh about the same give me some insight thanks

 

I'm 210lbs and my seat does hit from time to time. I have my shocks set to one full turn stiffer then stock...if you were to set your shocks even stiffer I bet you'ed be good. Only one way to find out and if it doesn't workout then you could always sell the DG seat. Hope this helps...

 

Ive spent alot on my bike so far and if you were to ask me what was most worth it id say the DG seat.

Go for it ull love it. I bought mine off ebay a few hundred $ cheaper than from their site and didnt have to wait.

 

270 pounds here with a Danny Gray on a Rocker. Yeah the seat will hit, but I still love it!

If you are worried about hitting the fender, ever thought of going with a Standard Rocker (FXCW) seat. I did and its way better than the C seat. 300plus here and don't come close to hitting fender.

 

To further confuse things..........................I go 255 (before breakfast, lol) and have had no problem with my DG seat. I put the clear protective film on the fender and once in a great while, after a good ride, i can see a clean spot in the road dust where the seat has touched. I say again, "touched", not "hit" or "rubbed". 10K miles and loving every one of them.

 

I'd have to say it's the best single investment I've put into my bike thus far. I'm a little lighter at 200 but I've never had it touch unless I bottom out the suspension. The plastic film is pretty thick at does a great job of protecting the paint!

 

yeah it will rub but that is it I had the shocks tightened up a bit. give me reason to lose more weight ;-) get the seat it is well worth the money your body will thank you. it gives a much better ride feel

 

Just modified my seat brackets and saddle bag supports for my saddle bags. Need to find more of the protective plastic for the fender. Anybody have any imfo.

 

I just made one last week. I ordered a piece of 3M protective film from e-bay, made a template out of masking tape and it looks better than the the one that came with the seat.
